Alu-Cab Outside Bulkhead 8GAL/30L Headboard Water Tank

The Outside Bulkhead 8GAL / 30L Headboard Water Tank is designed to provide extra water for your Alu-Cab Camper / ModCAP. It is also a good option if you prefer not to use the interior bulkhead water tank available from Alu-Cab. The tank and brackets have a depth of approximately 3.25". It fits well on the Jeep Gladiator and is currently undergoing testing for compatibility with other trucks. A minimum space of 4" is needed to mount the tank. At present, we offer powder coated stainless mounting brackets for the Alu-Cab Mid-Size Campers (Canopy Camper / MODCAP), while mounting brackets for full-size campers are available via custom order.
After more usage by customers, we have found that this tank is NOT suitable for fuel. We DO NOT recommend using the tank for fuel.

- 8GAL / 30L Headboard Water Tank
- Two black textured, powder-coated stainless steel mounting brackets
- Tank vent cap fitting
- Tank 1/2 fitting plug
- Stainless steel mounting hardware
Please be advised that 813 Fabrication & Design does not assume responsibility for any damage that may occur from using the tank. It's important to note that in some trucks, the cab may shift close to the tank due to truck flexing. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Bought a previous set…long and short models to hold a 1 gallon and 2 gallon rotopax containers. I installed those on my passengers side bed rail. Liked the functionality so much I purschsed another long one to hold another 2 gallon rotopax on my drivers side. Got mine delivered today. Great fit and looks like it will work perfectly with my Diode Dynamics D-Switch - now if I can just get an appointment with my installer. I'm thinking maybe I should have ordered the larger sized one, but we'll make this one work.

Love this step! I am actually using it on my Tacoma with a GFC, not an Alu-Cab. I was able to attach the top of the step to my Tacoma bed rail and then just added some spacers on the bottom that rest against the bedside to keep it from flexing when I put my weight on it. Huge upgrade and makes it so much easier to get up to the bed platform.

I went with the behind the seat arb twin mount and I’m glad I did. The compressor went in smoothly and the bracket looks and feels quality. I do not have any issues with the seat back and the heat shielding that is offered is a nice touch. I would recommend this setup on the gladiator for anyone not wanting to remove the under-seat bin and also don’t want the compressor in the engine compartment.
